The snow-covered village environment of the village Dúbravica provided from 3 to 5 February 2017 a creative “shelter” for five young artists – students from the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica – Faculty of Fine Arts – Department of Intermedia and Digital Media. The creative process took place in the former state nursery school, currently managed by the artistic organization Periférne centrá. Under the guidance of Mgr. art. Lukáš Matejka, ArtD. (TRAKT) students had created the prototypes at the intersection of light object and material experiment.

The topic of the creative workshop was “digital rural area with a focus on light”. Young students  Lucia Devečková, Bibiána Hudáková, Kornélia Mucsková, Matúš Astrab and Richard Bolčo worked intensively with the intention of the light intervention, public intimacy, but also temporary or permanent installation. Workshop was organized by Periférne centrá in collaboration with the civic association TRAKT.
